Anadolu Break

A dance-travel documentary within the scope of the “Anadolu Break” project, which synthesises Turkey’s local folk dances and break dance. Can dance bring eastern and western cultures together? The curator of the project, Amigo, whose real name is Kadir Memiş, blends Anatolian folk dances that reflect the power of the land for centuries with break dance born from the spirit of the street. Anadolu Break, Red Bull BC One All Stars, world-renowned break dancers Brazilian Neguin and American Roxrite, joined Amigo, one of the founders of Flying Steps break dance team, where they discovered the unique dances in Anatolia and the geographies of these genres. Taylan Mutaf  and Uluç Keçik are the directors of the documentary. This is the story of their journey.
